Web Application Developer – .NET / SQL / React

Job description

Contract Term:

Contract — 12 months (with option to renew)

Work Arrangement:

4 days on‑site / 1 day remote.

Clearance:

Must be able to pass high‑level background screening.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain and enhance existing .NET Web Forms / MVC applications.
  • Design and build new features and micro‑services with C#, React, Node.js, and SQL Server.
  • Develop REST APIs, integrations and data pipelines connecting SharePoint, Azure, GIS and other enterprise systems.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps; participate in weekly change‑control meetings.
  • Create SSRS and Power BI reports to provide real‑time insights to engineering stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and deliver high‑quality code under strict change‑management controls.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field from an accredited college.
  • 5+ years full‑stack web application development using ASP.NET Web Forms and ASP.NET MVC.
  • 5+ years hands‑on C# programming, applying solid OOP and design‑pattern principles.
  • 5+ years front‑end development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • 2+ years building .NET applications with React.js frontend and Node.js middleware/service layers.
  • 2+ years database design & development in Microsoft SQL Server (T‑SQL, stored procs, Entity Framework or similar ORM).
  • 2+ years developing or maintaining REST APIs / web‑service integrations.
  • 1+ year professional use of Git and Azure DevOps (or comparable CI/CD and version‑control tools).
  • 1+ year report development using Microsoft SSRS.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 Suite and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to manage changing priorities.

Preferred / Bonus Skills

  • Experience with AI API integration, ML workflows, or pre‑trained model deployment.
  • UI/UX design chops in Figma or similar.
  • Hands‑on CI/CD pipeline configuration and infrastructure‑as‑code.
  • Experience in Agile / Scrum environments.
  • Python scripting and Esri GIS integration.
  • Experience working with large public‑sector or construction‑industry organizations.

Compensation

Pay range: $60 – $70 / hr (W‑2) depending on experience and credentials.
