Technical Writer
About the Role
Paramint is a Brooklyn-based software consultancy that builds internal tools, custom platforms, and AI-driven solutions for enterprise clients like Constellation Brands, Burger King, and ResFrac. We publish technical content about internal tools, dashboards, and enterprise automation — the kind of content that engineers and ops leads actually read when they're evaluating platforms like Retool or deciding how to build their next internal app. We need a writer who has genuinely used these tools, not someone who's going to paraphrase the docs. You'll own our blog and content pipeline, producing articles that establish Paramint as the consultancy people call when they need internal tooling built right.
Responsibilities
- Write 3-5 long-form technical articles per month covering internal tools (Retool, Superblocks, Appsmith), AI automation, dashboard design, and custom software development
- Research and develop content that targets real search intent — "Retool vs. Superblocks for enterprise," "how to build an inventory dashboard"
- Create technical tutorials and walkthroughs that demonstrate Paramint's expertise, including realistic architecture diagrams and code snippets where appropriate
- Collaborate with Paramint's engineering team to turn real project patterns and lessons learned into publishable content
- Maintain a content calendar and pitch new topics based on industry trends, platform updates, and SEO opportunities
- Edit and refine existing content to keep it accurate as platforms release new features
Required Experience
- 3+ years writing technical content for a developer or engineering audience — blog posts, tutorials, documentation, or similar
- Demonstrated familiarity with internal tool platforms (Retool, Superblocks, Appsmith, or similar) — you should be able to explain the difference between a Retool app and a custom React dashboard without looking it up
- Strong understanding of web application architecture: APIs, databases, frontend frameworks, authentication — enough to write credibly about how these systems get built
- Experience writing SEO-informed content that still reads well to a technical audience
- Portfolio of published technical writing that shows you can explain complex topics clearly without dumbing them down
- Ability to self-direct: propose topics, manage deadlines, and deliver clean drafts that don't need heavy editing
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on experience building something in Retool, Superblocks, or a comparable platform — even a side project counts
- Familiarity with AI/LLM tooling and how it's being integrated into enterprise workflows (RAG pipelines, AI agents, prompt engineering)
- Experience writing for a consultancy or agency, where content serves both thought leadership and lead generation goals
- Basic comfort with Git and Markdown-based publishing workflows
